Modern life can take its toll in many ways. So much so, that we can often find ourselves too busy to reflect on the benefits of inner peace.

Taking a bit of time out for your self in order to avail of the opportunity to sit in silence and stillness has many medical benefits.

Modern science is beginning to catch up with ancient wisdom in verifying the benefits of a meditation practice, mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally.

Over the six weeks we will cover various forms of practice. Lying, sitting, walking meditation and also meditating with crystals. There will be ample time for questions and answers plus guidance for relevant reading material
and audio references.

The Demystifying Meditation workshop will be taking place in the Haven Workspace above Angel Times starting Monday 24th February. It will then continue for six consecutive Mondays from 7.30 to 9pm.

The cost for the workshop is €75. We also have a concession rate for the unemployed, single parents and pensioners of €50. There is also a drop-in rate of €15 per night. We ask for a deposit of €25 to secure your place on the workshop which can be paid in the shop, by calling 061 412882.

Please bring a yoga mat, a cushion and a blanket and an open mind. You may also want to bring some water to sip. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing.
